Child Development Associates

what is CDA

The Child Development Associates Credential Program (CDA) is a 120-hour course which covers everything required to obtain your CDA through the Council for Professional Recognition.  A CDA is required by most states to qualify as a head-of-room, assistant director, or director (with 2 years of teaching or a plan of study leading to a bachelors degree) position.
You can learn more about the Council for Professional Recognition by visiting

“I took the CDA as a refresher, and I learned of some changes in the field of childcare.  I received a better outlook of how my center should run~ what we were doing right and what we need to improve and work on. Attollo is a GREAT resource for child care providers. They know their stuff.”
